🔹 Pressure Thermoforming Process Overview
In pressure thermoforming, a heated plastic sheet is pulled into a cavity aluminum mold using vacuum. A pressure box seals against the sheet and applies positive air pressure up to 80 PSI, pushing the material into the mold to capture sharp corners, fine textures, and tight radii.
This process creates parts that look and feel similar to injection molded components, without the high tooling cost.
